'hey girl' is a zine dedicated to raising awareness of neurodivergence in girls, women, and female-aligned individuals, helping neurodivergent women feel validated and giving neurotypical allies a new perspective on their language.  the first issue is based on a survey i conducted, which gathered phrases that neurodivergent women and people who are female-aligned had heard and felt undermined by. the issue unpacks these comments, reframing them so that neurodivergent readers feel seen and are encouraged to rethink how they speak, and neurotypical readers are encouraged to rethink how they speak as well.
